Pre-Shrunk at Argyle Fine Art

Argyle Fine Art has an annual show called Pre-Shrunk where they showcase a couple hundred paintings all measuring 4"x5".

I just found out about this show about a week before the deadline for submissions, so only had time to do two paintings.  I was also forced to use watercolor instead of my usually preferred medium of oil, since they don't have much time to dry before the show on January 23rd.  I was quite surprised when, in the end, both paintings turned out satisfactory.  I had moments during each where I thought I had ruined them.

These are the two paintings I have submitted for consideration.

And they've been accepted!  Yea!  Can't wait for the show, January 23rd- February 10.
