Some of the pictures I've taken would work well in a very long, or very tall format. I've been wanting to turn some of them into bookmarks. It seems like a very fitting project for me, since I usually have 5 or 6 books I'm reading at any one time, and I only have a couple of bookmarks.
I'd also like to cut strips of watercolor paper, paint them, maybe laminate them, and use them as bookmarks as well. I've made a couple of bookmarks this way, but I didn't laminate them and they got wet and smudged a bit.
I made a couple more over the Christmas break.
I might try sealing them with varnish or something and see how that works.
