Last weekend I finally starting painting my flower paintings that I had all sketched out months ago. See the previous posts "New Oil Painting Series" and "Flower Sketches".
It kind of feels good to be painting in oils again. I've been doing mostly watercolors lately. Oils are messier and seem to take a bit more effort to set up and tear down (I seem to work best at the kitchen table, so setting up and tearing down is a necessary evil), but they are fun.
I set up my camera and remote timer while painting, so I'll have some interesting time lapse videos to show once I've finished some of these paintings. Stay tuned!
